My reality was very different. I was working 80 hours a week behind the chair and even more on the business. I told myself success meant hustle. I believed my salon had to be my legacy because I was told I could never have children. So I pushed, striving to prove I could succeed—no matter the cost.

Then God surprised my husband and me with our first miracle, our daughter Corryn. That blessing changed everything. I started missing the priceless moments—her first steps, her milestones. One night I broke down in tears on the floor because someone else had seen her first steps instead of me. I knew I couldn’t keep living that way.

What I had built wasn’t freedom—it was just another job that owned me. I didn’t know how to change, but I knew I had to. That’s when I invested in a business coach, and everything shifted.

My salon became one of the Top 200 Fastest Growing in North America. My staff’s books grew, my community recognized what I had created, and most importantly—I finally had the time to be present as a mom. God hadn’t called me just to be a stylist or an owner, but to be a hands‑on mother to my girls.
